We have an opening in our Istanbul, Turkey office for a BW Line Manager with SAP BW expertise. This role also has responsibilities that include training, mentoring and leading a junior team of developers. The BW Line Manager will provide expert BW design and delivery for prominent Middle East and Europe projects both remotely and occasionally on-site in Gulf countries. The ideal candidate has 7-8 years’ experience working with SAP BW (Data Modelling and Business Explorer) plus some SAP BusinessObjects Platform design, development and administration would be considered an asset. Candidates with previous project team lead and/or line management experience will be given preference.
Required Technical Skills:
7-8 years of solid development and implementation experience with SAP BW (BW Netweaver, SAP BI-Reporting, BeX Query Designer, BEx Analyzer, SAP-ABAP)
Activations of Business Content, Extractors, External Data Sources, Functional Module, User Exists, InfoCubes, InfoObjects, DataSources, DTP, Transformation, BEX and WEB reports
Solid understanding of SAP R/3, CO-PA, FI-GL, SD, MM, FI/CO, FI-AR and PP; other models including AFS is a plus
In depth understanding of Business Intelligence architecture is required
High level proficiency with PL/SQL or SQL and data modeling
Experience with some or all SAP BusinessObjects client tools
Experience with database management is desirable

Education:
University Level Degree (preferred in Engineering or IT) / Master’s in information technology
Work Environment Requirements:
Turkish nationality and passport or Turkish work permit/residency
Willing to be based long-term in Istanbul, Turkey and adopt a hybrid working model with some days in the Clariba Istanbul office each week
Open for occasional business travel within Middle East countries
