We have two open positions for SAP BW Consultant role with strong BW and BW4HANA skills, complimented by SAP BPC or SAP BO / SAP Analytics Cloud experience. The successful candidates will actively participate, from our Istanbul office, in the design, development and coordination of challenging SAP BW projects in Middle East and Europe.
The ideal candidate is an experienced financial and technical consultant with proven abilities in SAP Business Warehouse (Data Modelling and Business Explorer). The individual is committed to achieving customer results on time and on budget, investigating new technologies and solutions for our customers, building and sharing knowledge within our team and striving for excellence in all of our projects.
Required Functional Skills:
Solid understanding of SAP Modules R/3 (CO-PA, FI-GL, FI/CO, FI-AR, SD, MM, PP, HSE, IM, HCM, ...)
Good understanding of core business process
Technical Skills & Experience:
3-4 years of solid development and implementation experience with SAP BW (BW Netweaver, SAP BI-Reporting, BeX Query Designer, BEx Analyzer, SAP-ABAP)
In depth understanding of data warehousing architecture is required
High level proficiency with PL/SQL or SQL and data modelling
Working experience with SAP BW, BW/HANA, BW4HANA
Activations of Business Content, Extractors, External Data Sources, Functional Module, User Exists, InfoCubes, InfoObjects, DataSources, DTP, Transformation, BEX and WEB reports
SAP BW certification would be considered an asset
SAP BusinessObjects and SAP Analytics Cloud experience would be considered an asset
SAP BPC technical experience would be considered an asset
Competencies
Fluent English language skills (oral / written) – must be able to interact with English speaking teams
Ability to commit to customer milestones, deadlines, and service levels (Fixed Price projects preferred) in order to deliver high quality projects on time
Ability to work independently or leading a team while proactively updating Senior Project Manager on status, challenges, and milestones
Ability to design technical solutions from functional directions
Understanding of best practice project management methodology
Experience mentoring and leading junior employees
Analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities
Ability to multi-task with a variety of customers and projects
Willingness to support team members with difficult projects or tight timelines
Autonomous thinking and proactive approach to investigating and discovering solutions
Commitment to open, transparent, and frequent communication with customers and team
Education:
University Level Degree (preferred in Computer Engineering or BSc degrees in other Engineering departments) / Master’s in information technology or similar
Work Environment Requirements:
Turkish nationality and passport or Turkish work permit/residency
Willing to be based long-term in Istanbul, Turkey and adopt a hybrid working model with some days in the Clariba Istanbul office each week
Open for occasional business travel within Middle East countries
